Lou Tilchin - Managing Partner

Lou Tilchin began his career in January 1986 upon graduating from Florida State University. His first professional role was providing investment advisory services and insurance products for Prudential where he quickly joined an elite circle of successful advisors. For 15 consecutive years, Tilchin won the prestigious President’s Citation award given to top producers nationally.

In 1994, Tilchin made the decision to test his entrepreneurial spirit and he opened Tilchin Financial. The firm offered a broad range of financial services including: fee-based portfolio management, estate planning, risk management and insurance. As the firm grew, Tilchin focused his energy on managing clients’ portfolios and building strong relationships. Educating clients and providing first class service has been a cornerstone of Tilchin’s business.

In April 2007, Tilchin formed a partnership with Scott Jaffe, formerly of Smith Barney, and Jaffe Tilchin Wealth Management was born. Today, Jaffe Tilchin is a dynamic financial services company offering a full array of services to meet the unique needs of their clients. The firm’s focus lies in building wealth management products and services designed to enhance and protect the financial goals of its clients.

Tilchin is the father of two children and enjoys spending time with them as they pursue various activities.
