Scott Jaffe - Director of Investment Management

Scott Jaffe has a proven history of financial success as an investment advisor with 20 years of experience, most recently with Citi Smith Barney and previously with Prudential Securities. Jaffe has devoted his career to the study and implementation of financial planning and portfolio management, often ranking among the top producers in the United States and consistently achieving the highest honor of Chairman or Director Councils each year since 1990. During his tenure with Smith Barney, Jaffe also served as a Senior Vice President – Wealth Management and recently a Senior Portfolio Management Director, a position held by only 16 advisors throughout the U.S.

Despite the upward mobility of his professional roles, Jaffe’s focus has always been on providing financial guidance that assists clients with achieving goals that improve the condition of their lives. While Jaffe gives credit to his father for his passion for business, he says his mother instilled the importance of creating and nurturing relationships, a concept he remains committed to.

His partnership with Lou Tilchin at Jaffe Tilchin Wealth Management cast Jaffe in the role of a “breakaway broker,” a financial industry trend where brokers leave the larger traditional firms to seek independence and entrepreneurial freedom. His vision is to foster close and enduring relationships with clients in order to instill confidence and trust, which builds a culture where intelligent financial decisions can be more confidently made in the complex world of wealth and its management.

Jaffe holds a Master’s in Finance from Penn State University, as well as a Bachelor’s in Finance from Indiana University. Jaffe is a passionate father and fully engaged in the parenting of his 12 year old son and 10 year old daughter.
